Our team provides operational support including programming, Web development, Software Engineering support, System Administration, Database Administration, Network Administration, Independent Verification & Validation, Information Assurance, Testing, and Engineering services.

QSS is a well-established and growing small business. QSS specializes in providing support services in the area of Information Technology (IT), Healthcare, Healthcare IT, Cybersecurity, Network Management, Computer Facilities Management, Program Management, Management Consulting, Administrative & Professional Support Services and Training to Government and private sector customers.

Team Members – Orion has successfully implemented more than 600 Information Technology (IT), and professional services projects, and served more than 200 clients in the private as well as the Government sector, over past 20 years.

 Provides IT support services, implementation and upgrades to computer programs for the U.S. Navy Area Dental Laboratory (ADL) serving over 70 commands, clinics and ships.
 Maintain and upgrade implemented computer programs and associated web pages. Lab Manager Program software, DIRS, MEPRS, and QAR, Microsoft Office.
 Define the reporting requirements, collect the necessary data and prepare the reports and modify the existing program to fit the ADL’s requirements.
 Maintain data from various types of contractual and financial documents.
 Maintain contract files, compile data for and prepare various reports.

 Design programs to achieve and accomplish computer programmatic goals such as determine detailed sequence of steps in program logic, develop flowcharts, tables and narrative descriptions to implement required changes. MSVisual, Micro-soft, Micro-soft and Microsoft SQL
 Develop test data and test assigned programs to ensure that program logic is correct; analyze and implement program changes and report on standard ADF systems.
 Prepare documentation in accordance with established standards; validate documentation; respond to program problems by diagnosing and correcting logic and/or coding errors.

 Implemented Business Data Warehouse for enhanced reporting; extensive programming, & control procedures, including continuing information assurance analyses
 Provided justification to Navy that NAVAIR’s ERP will be Navy’s baseline for overall ERP solution

Provides program and engineering support for overall management of a multi-year, multi-billion dollar CI program; supplying the resources for technical support, working under the responsible charge of Government Architects and Engineers, on CI projects at all NAVFAC SW installations. This includes design and project management, including assistance with development of project scopes, schedules, budgets, status reports, briefs, etc., in support of project programming, planning, design, and construction efforts.

Supports CI policies, positions, procedures, and interests in meetings with stakeholders, including team members, base representatives, contractors, and regulators. We provide information and database management support. Orion establishes construction contract administration processes for field office personnel used to accomplish the Navy’s construction program, ensuring construction administration processes used by field offices comply with established NAVFAC HQ processes.  Provide research and development, engineering, technical, program logistic administrative repair, and fabrication process support services in the Power Energy and Interconnect Technologies Division Code GXS at Crane Naval Weapons Center.
 Provide non-personal professional engineering, technical and management support services in liaison duties, engineering and technical support, data management, document control, technical documentation, operation and maintenance of test equip-ment, instrumentation and control systems, operation research support, maintenance data collection, statistical and analytical investigative analysis support, inventory management support, logistics support, CM support and development and implementation of enhancements.
